Wintertime fun in Duke Forest

Ben and I decided to take a walk in Duke Forest today. Yes, that is me in shorts and a t-shirt because even though today is January 6th, it was 75 degrees outside this afternoon. Wintertime my foot! On the plus side, it was nice to be able to take a nature hike without worrying about running into large spiders or other such creatures.

The Ensemble
Dr. Beth: Wife, mom, assistant professor of physical therapy education, musician, recreational runner, writer of blog, drinker of coffee
Dr. Ben: Husband, dad, associate professor of physics, cook, home repairman, also a drinker of coffee
Ally: 9 year old fourth-grader, enjoys helping dad around the house, loves baking, reading, and gymnastics
Amelia: 6 year old first-grader, loves gymnastics, dancing, and tagging along with her big sister and their friends
