I don't know how to do my physiology homework that is due on Wednesday.
I'm not sure right now how learning the minute details of cell membrane biophysics is going to make me a better exercise physiologist.
It is hard to pay attention in a class that lasts for 3 hours, even with breaks.
I am always behind with assigned readings, and even when I read them, I forget what they say.
I guess this is the life of a PhD student.

I know how you feel. I was sitting in the girls' room reading SG a story while EC slept and JA was at the store with CC. After the second Disney Princess story and the expected "will you read another one, Mommy?" I replied to my almost-three year old with "No, I need a break." And a break I took. I went to the kitchen, drank a glass of Diet Coke, stared out the window for a few minutes, then went back and read another story. When you're in the muck and mire (you have cell biology, I have banal literature) sometimes it's hard to focus on the big picture!
Amen Sistahh :)
I have to present for lab meeting on Friday, which means I have to figure out if I have actually accomplished anything since the middle of April, when I last presented.
Good luck!
