That one can rock a baby to sleep, hold her in your arms and walk until she falls asleep, or nurse her until she falls asleep, and by sleep, I mean limp as a rag doll and mouth open catching flies, but the second one puts the baby in her crib, swing, or pack 'n' play, she stretches and completely wakes up, wide-eyed, sometimes with howling.
Why does she do this??? I don't understand it!

Amen sister!!!
Although Miriam sometimes wails, but other times wakes up all happy and smiley, like she has just slept many hours! Even a happy baby is very frustrating in the wee hours.
When someone explains it to you, please please PLEASE explain it to me. Nothing more frustrating than putting a sleeping baby in his crib at 3 am only to have him wake up and look at you like "Nice try but not gonna happen"
